Teaching is central to his research and practice in movement and performance, and he teaches widely across the UK and internationally.
He works across a range of contexts, including festivals, independent organisations, and dance and theatre companies. He also teaches, choreographs, and leads choreographic projects in dance conservatoires, universities, and colleges in the UK and abroad.

Workshops & Classes
Charlie Morrissey teaches partnering work rooted in and expanding on Contact Improvisation principles which feed an approach to improvisation and composition for performance as essentially relational practices..
His teaching creates space for participants to explore their own curiosity and potential as physical, thinking movers and makers.
He has worked with companies including Siobhan Davies Dance, Carte Blanche, Skånes Dansteater, Verve, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Candoco, Berne Ballet and Scottish Dance Theatre, and has been commissioned to create work with students at institutions such as The Place, Laban, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.
He also teaches widely in conservatoires and universities across the UK and internationally, alongside mentoring and leading creative projects.
Charlie is teaching workshops in Cape Town, Genova, Berlin, Venice, Brussels, Portugal, Herefordshire(UK), Munich, Innsbruck, Madrid, Yorkshire and more this year.
